GB Hardware & Software was founded in 1988 with the aim of producing the first intelligent remote microprocessor terminal with display and keyboard for the textile industry.
Born Proteus T0 (and the system Proteus), with 24-key keyboard and electroluminescent display to 16 characters.
The terminal is designed to control and automatic detection of the production on the machine, but later, with the models T1 and T2 also control the same machine.
For these first three models the connection to the central system is cable, Polling system , with the T3 (1994), the connection becomes a real network type CSMA-CA, proprietary (GBNet), over twisted pair.
From the model T4 (1996) and later the network becomes Radio with a wireless modem in the ISM band at 434 MHz. Through several updates, aesthetic and technological for models the T4 and T5, today T6 portable with touch screen.
At the request of a leading manufacturer of textiles, is developed a CNC (Master T0, 1993) for the control automated of the yarn tension CREEL (up to 2,550 textile threads),
in speed during warping, our client becomes the third largest producer to have this technology, after Germany and Japan. The system is sold to date worldwide.
Since 1990 in the field of marking, develops and integrates HW & SW on PC for managing microdot marking machines for automated lines and not, for automotive, motorcycle and heavy engineering.
